Palm HotSync technology helps you connect and synchronize between your Palm organizer data and related PC data. In its basic configuration, HotSync supports connecting to your primary PC (the PC with your data) through a serial cable or by dialing in directly to your PC. HotSyncs network capability, network HotSync, allows you to sync your Palm organizer and your Primary PC across a network connection. With network HotSync installed and enabled, the HotSync program listens for a sync request on a network port.
