The Acronyms lexicon for BDicty contains more than 12,000 acronyms. It covers virtually all areas of life, from physics through politics to file extensions to internet chats jargon. It can be used as a quick reference in serious researches or as a entertaining product (International Business Machines or I Blame Microsoft?).
The downloadable preview version includes only acronyms starting with A and B. Since the lexicon is a passive database by itself, the free Public version of BDicty is included as well.
The full version comes with automatic registration for the Commercial BDicty version. This also means that by the time of releasing this product, all current registered BDicty users will be able to download the new version for free from the upgrade page. In addition to the current policy of free upgrades, BEIKS will continue to expand the number of titles available for the Commercial BDicty users.
Search is case insensitive. The full version allows customers to expand the lexicon with new entries.
Until our online lexicon update submission page is done, we would gladly accept submissions for new entries at words@beiks.com.
