upIRC (formerly apIRC) is a fully RFC-compliant client for Internet Relay Chat (IRC) servers. It includes a full range of features, including DCC chat support, custom font support, command shortcuts with variables, auto-completion of commands, and a one-tap shortcut for entering nicknames in channels.

Support for various vendor-specific screen enhancements was added, as well as an option to disable the built-in self-flood protection. Custom font support was also corrected for OS 5 hi-res displays, so that fonts are no longer double their intended size.
