If you are a coach or fan of the sport of swimming and have a Palm PDA, there is a new timing application called SwimTimer, by Sundeo Technologies, designed for you. With this application you can time up to three swimmers per heat. Times can be associated with members of the team and/or the lane number of the swimmer as well as the heat number and event.
Once the race has been completed, the results may be downloaded and imported into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet for printing, editing, and viewing. SwimTimer can handle events from 50 yards/meters to 1650 yards/meters.
