Someone on the mail list asked, whether inverting the display would improve the readability. Well, try it out yourself. Oh, a word about power consumption: NO, the LCD won't *suck* your batteries to have all white pixels black. After all it doesn't take too much enegery to twist a little crystal :), but it takes a bit more. I meassured it, and it averages to about 1mA more. That's about 5% more of the consumption in idle mode. When you use the backlight with it then you shouldn't worry. The light needs 30 times the current of the 'invert increase'
