JackFlash works by giving you access to the extra Flash space available on most Palm devices. If you have a Palm III, a Palm IIIx, a Palm V, or a Palm Vx, then JackFlash is for you! On these devices, only a portion of the two-megabyte Flash ROM space is reserved for the operating system. JackFlash lets you utilize the unused portion of the Flash ROM to store your applications and databases. Items moved into Flash will work just as before, only now you will have more memory space available on your Palm organizer.

Please Note:
Not all Palm devices are supported by JackFlash. JackFlash does not support the Palm IIIe, Palm VII, Japanese versions of the Palm or the Handspring Visor. Palm devices prior to the Palm III are only supported if they have the Palm III upgrade.
JackFlash does not support devices with the OmniSky modem. The software for the modem is automatically installed into Flash, leaving no room for JackFlash.
