Arabic Palm Localization (Arabic PiLoc) provides the localization of Palm OS to Arabic, Urdu and Farsi (Persian) languages and enables Arabic on-screen keyboard. Language versions (Arabic, Farsi, Urdu) differ in on-screen keyboard layout and text sorting operation functionality.
All PiLoc Arabic versions support Arabic text writing from right to left, right text alignment in any application. PiLoc Arabic is fully compatible with Windows-1256 encoding type: you can copy document in Arabic from desktop PC on you Palm, send and receive e-mails in Win-1256.
Arabic PiLoc works correctly on Palm III, Palm IIIx and Palm V devices.
National PiLoc's are a standard mean of national support, used by number of Palm resellers in Russia, Greece, Poland and Israel, which otherwise cannot sell Palm devices for the lack of localized national versions. Now PiLoc Arabic is fully compatible with Palm IIIe.
