Find Ignore Hack is a HackMaster extension utility that allows you to specify applications that will not be searched when using the global Find command. This allows you prevent duplicate searches of databases when using 3rd-party replacements for the built-in apps (like DateBk3). Or, it can simply reduce your screen clutter and search time when using Find.

Features:

| | | Reduce Searching Time - If you have some large databases on your Palm that you do not need searched, then excluding them with Find Ignore Hack will greatly speed your searches.

| | | Reduce Clutter - If you do not use some of the built-in applications, such as Mail or Expense, you can exclude these applications from your searches and prevent their headers from cluttering up your search results screen.

| | | Eliminate Duplicate Searches - If you use certain 3rd-party replacements for the built-in Palm applications, such as DateBk3, then a global Find will search the built-in database twice: once with the built-in application, and once with your 3rd-party replacement. Excluding the built-in application with Find Ignore Hack will avoid this duplication.

| | | Bypass Program Bugs - Sometimes you will find a 3rd-party application that, while useful, has a bug in it that can cause crashing when responding to the Find command. Excluding this program using Find Ignore Hack allows you to keep using the program without giving up the Find functionality for other programs.
