This update is intended for current PalmDesktop 3.0 software users who have experienced problems with HotSync synchronization of e-mail.
This update corrects a situation where the HotSync process will fail while trying to synchronize e-mail messages with a very large number of recipients. The exact number of email recipients that would trigger the problem depends on the mail system being used.
The E-Mail Conduit Update detects e-mail messages with a significantly large number of recipients and keeps them from interrupting the HotSync process. Messages with a long list of recipients will be transferred to the handheld without the entire distribution list. A message will appear on the handheld, stating, "The content of this field was too large. The entire e-mail is available in your E-Mail application."
