We decided to implement plugins in this version of SynCalc due to the large number of requests we receive for new functionality in the calculator. People use their PalmPilots for so many things that there's no way we could ever keep up with our customer's needs. Now, with a little knowledge of C programming and a PalmOS developers kit, anyone can build custom functionality into SynCalc which can then be shared with other SynCalc users. I hope that someday there are plugins available for hundreds of industries and other custom needs.
