Presdec is a small utility, written in Java, that will take any .prc file (PalmOS resource files), split it into seperate resources and build an .rcp (GUI description) file suitable for PilRC.

Features:

| | | Written in Java, to make it usable on a wide range of Computers and Operating Systems.
It has been tested (a little :-)) on Linux with the 1.1.6 JDK and Windows 95 using the 1.2b4 JDK.

| | | Nicely structured and well documented source code is available.

| | | Output is very readable, contains no unprintable characters, and may be sorted by resource ID to improve human analysis.

| | | All resources, even unknown ones, may be saved in binary form to make generation of new PRC file possible.

| | | Presdec is freeware and will always be freeware.
